Protecting yourself and others from COVID-19 is still an important part of staying well. At Garvey’s Pharmacy in Glenamaddy, we’re proud to support the HSE’s vaccination programme by offering first and second doses, as well as booster shots—all in line with the latest national guidance.

If you’re not in one of these groups, you may still be eligible—just check in with your GP or speak to our pharmacy team.
Before booking your booster, make sure you’re eligible and that enough time has passed since your last dose or a COVID-19 infection—usually a minimum of six months.

Our Antigen test is a quick nose swab that checks for a current COVID-19 infection. One of our pharmacists will gently take a swab from each nostril, and your results will be ready in less than an hour.
If your test is negative, you’ll receive an EU Digital COVID Certificate by email, which you can upload to your phone using the COVID Tracker App or a similar platform.
Please note that antigen tests are not as sensitive as PCR tests. They’re designed to detect the virus when you’re most likely to be infectious and could pass it on to others.
